Chapter 5 had all kinds of boring stuff in it. The internet has become the best thing since sliced bread. And internet has changed the way people live. Internet in classrooms can only help aid children with learning and it will really help teachers teach. The internet also has its downsides with plenty of ways young adults and children can get into trouble or view the wrong things.
Not many new skills this week. Looking stuff up on the internet today in class was boring, seriously who doesnt know how to use google? if you dont please raise your hand and i will step on your foot...
This dumb SAM microsoft word practice test thing is the worst. Im pretty good at word and this is difficult but i dont know that its me getting the questions wrong its that sam makes you do it the way that no one ever does.. I cant wait for this class to be over because im burning my CD and then throwing the ashes over a cliff. Since i just wrote my last post i have nothing new to share so i will jsut make something up. Today when i looked up Lincoln i found a picture of a monkey, that was a little wierd but oh well im late for practice so this is all you get this week.

Post 3
In chapter 4 there are topics like the components of the system unit, input devices, output devices and other stuff like that. The components of the system unit is very interesting because its neat to see the inside of the machine and how all the different things work together to perform a task. The input devices are neat because thats what we actually do to make the system work. Output devices like printers are an essential to computers. And storage has come a long way since floppy disks.
I learned a few new things about the inside components of the computer and the different ways they interact. Some components carry out only one task while others do numerious. The input devices are very interesting and it was very cool to learn how storage devices have evolved since the floppy disk.
I went home this weekend and if your unaware home is PA and a pain in the butt. If i fly out of tallahassee its twice as much and i have to make a stop in NC. So i drive to jacksonville and fly out of there. So i left friday morning, my flight leaving at 7:30AM i had to leave tally by 3:00 AM. It was nice driving all alone on 10 but was very boring. When i was home i went to a Philadelphia Eagles game and we won 56-21 over the Detriot Lions. It was very awesome because i was about 3 rows from the field and so close to the players i could almost touch them. It was also nice to be home for the weekend to enjoy all the foods from up north you wierd southerners dont have down here. Also on the southern note it was nice not to hear y'all and the rest of the goofy words you people say down here. I did catch myself say yall once while home and wanted to wash my mouth out with soap. So i survived the trip back and now im stuck in this town till thanksgiving.

In chapter three i learned about application software. application software consist of programs designed to perform specific tasks for users. Application software can be used as a business tool , to support school activities and at home activities. Application software is so helpful.
I learned how to use application software and explored its many advantages. I learned about a few types of application software categories including productivity business and school. The school category included many things that were interesting for a teacher like grade book and note taking.
So how come in florida it rains all the time and is called the sunshine state? Im from Pa and i think it rains more there. Today i looked out the window right before class and it looked sunny with few clouds then 5 min later i get on my scooter for the 2 min ride to class and it starts pouring.... Then when i get to the building there working on the front parking lot... What is up with that this school is always working on stuff, so while its pouring i have to find a new place to park and i have no idea where there is any parking for scooters near stone except the spot right in front so im driving around exploring in the pouring rain. It was not the greatest day...

Chapter one contained a few topics that were fairly firmiliar. The word processing section was pretty much all information that I already knew. And I also learned about cell phones, faxes, and printers. All the technology related to these devises make modern computers much more simple. The operating systems were very neat to learn about. Schools use computers in many different ways.
I didnt learn too much new. This chapter was pretty much all that i have known. I am excited for new chapters because they will present new information that i can learn. I dont really know what else there is to learn? This chapter was more annoying because I knew it all.
The Eagles lost this weekend i was pretty upset about that. They were beat by the Packers come on now the packers. I went to my first football game it was very neat to see the inside of the stadium.
